@RichardJMurphy@mas.to If the UK to have a better electoral system, switching would work but not voting Labour under the current system would most likely mean a Tory government and another round off extra deaths. How do we break the financial rules without those deaths?

@RichardJMurphy@mas.to "these fiscal rules, introduced as they were by Gordon Brown in 1997" Huh, I wonder how they completely failed to shield the economy from the sub-prime credit crash in 2008. Almost like they were imposing the wrong constraints in the wrong place.
