Just renewed my Irish passport card online. The passport itself is good for another 5 years but for some reason passport cards only last 5 years, rather than 10.
I was bracing myself for the ordeal as these things are usually frustrating from start to finish.
But, no. First picture I took was accepted without issue, lots of details to enter, but all fine. Paid my €35. All done. Still a couple of gulps of coffee left.

@ratcatcher@beige.party To be honest, as much as I love a good moan, I do find both the passport office and Revenue pretty easy to deal with. I don't think I've ever had any real complaints about them.
