Speaking of the stellar quality output out of Cupertino lately… ever since #iOS started, I occasionally found my iPhone *completely* out of space. Usually, I have ~105÷110 GBs occupied on 128. This morning, again, I woke up to a warning that the device ran out of space. Crawling. (1/4)

Since I run the last iOS release and betas are disabled, it made no sense, but once I manually deleted some apps and Settings finally started launching again, behold: iOS was reserving 15 Gigs for automatic OS updates. How the effing ef a device can decide to render itself unusable to reserve space for a future update THAT DOES NOT EXIST YET is beyond comprehension. (2/4)

@cdf1982 I setup my 128GB M1 iPad Pro fresh, and after only signing into iCloud for iCloud messages and iCloud Photos it was full and useless. The “optimisation” for neither works. If only they could stop wasting time trying to ship an AI that is never gonna work and focused on basic reliability and usability.🤦‍♂️
