Since I run the last iOS release and betas are disabled, it made no sense, but once I manually deleted some apps and Settings finally started launching again, behold: iOS was reserving 15 Gigs for automatic OS updates.
How the effing ef a device can decide to render itself unusable to reserve space for a future update THAT DOES NOT EXIST YET is beyond comprehension. (2/4)

There go automatic software updates on my phone, once I disabled it the 15 gigs were released immediately and there's no way I will allow again to wake up and waste half an hour because Apple cannot check how much space is available before filling it up. — Yesterday I was using VSCode and at disappeared on me while I was typing. "Oh, it crashed” I thought. But now, I relaunched it and there it was, showing me the release notes for the update it just installed. (3/4)
