Today I'm going to spend the day trying not to spiral about tomorrows CT scan & x-ray. Already stressing about what to wear. For example, is a sports bra too thick to wear, resulting in the need of a hospital gown? Im trying to avoid that. Its looking like it will have to just be a #FreeTheNip day.

@InTheseHeels@mastodon.ie I'd have assumed you'll be in a gown anyway for a CT scan, but that's just a guess. Did they provide any instructions? Mine was for bladder so had a contrast dye injection, not sure if that necessitated a gown or if it was to avoid thicker waist bands. Never even occurred to me that there might be an option to avoid a gown.. Good luck!

@InTheseHeels@mastodon.ie The only time I've had a chest x-ray I did have to take off my bra as it contained metal. I wasn't given a gown or anything, it was just remove my top in the little room they did the x-ray scan in. My last head CT scan I was asked if I was wearing any metal, and I don't recall the bits of metal in my pants being an issue.
