I must admit to having mixed feelings as to the Artemis mission. The emotions for this mission are different than those for Apollo. Also, I worked as a system engineer developing Bayesian risk assessment methodologies for parts of the Space Transportation System. The original STS plans included a reusable, crewed launch vehicle, the Shuttle, Earth and Lunar Space stations, a space ship to go between them, and lunar landers.
