Oh my word. the new Suno V5.5 update is bonkers. You can now clone your voice and use it as a persona which they have now renamed voices. I&#39;ve cloned my voice and it sound uncannily like me all be it a polished version of me.

@darrenhartland@caneandable.social While it's cool there are still too many artifacts for it to be used in any kind of serious work, and I'd argue they've actually gotten worse. Hopefully Suno can figure that out, Google's new Lyria model doesn't have too many artifacts apart from some high frequency noise, but on instrumentals you really can't tell it's AI, which is pretty impressive

@darrenhartland@caneandable.social I tried to do it but it didn't work all that well, did you sing in to it so it could get a good idea of what your voice sounds like? How long of a recording did you give it? I want to clone my voice too but right now what it created isn't so good.
