An observation: When an issue arises for discussion, some people will have strong or even extreme opinions. Also, there will be people who will be more vociferous in their opinions. (These are often the same people.) Conversely, some will have more balanced or nuanced views, or won't want to decide right away. And there will be those who are naturally quieter or more hesitant to voice an opinion. (Again, these are often the same people.) 1/
