Not really-- the study finds it means they can squeeze in more appointments about 1 every two weeks.
It's just increasing their workload.

@hedgielib@glammr.us I'd also posit that introduces many new kinds of failure modes into the process. Hardly seems worth it for the minor calculated increase in income.
