#WritersCoffeeClub Apr 3: Have you studied writing? Did it prepare you, or did you learn more by doing? I've done a lot of writing in non-fiction areas, like for uni work and professional work. I have a chapter or two published somewhere under a previous name. But I've never studied creative writing in any formal way. Mostly I just read a lot, and learn what I like and what works from there, and try to improve my own writing each time I do a poem or short story.
