Plus, if it’s as much of a crisis as they claim, then maybe they should stop selling blood to the pharma industry and donate more of it to hospitals?

@Arcanoraptor@furry.engineer @soatok@furry.engineer Blood cannot be stored for very long (about a month) and we decided that it's icky to pay people to give blood, so there's always a need for blood donations.

@Arcanoraptor@furry.engineer @soatok@furry.engineer (understanding they tend to have the same donation standards) you can often donate to a local blood bank or directly at a hospital that helps it get more directly where it is needed, if that is of interest.
