@da_667@infosec.exchange I mean there's also the other issue, where when people decide to fire you because you're the scapegoat for their fuckup, it becomes progressively harder to find jobs.

@da_667@infosec.exchange @munin@infosec.exchange it's funny, because it took me maybe a year to reach the point of 'fuck it, I'm a mercenary, I refuse to care more about your environment than you do' as a pentester. I can't imagine giving a shit about security with things in the state they are now. I certainly can't imagine being excited about the field.
