We are not ready for the flood of AI-written fraudulent papers that will be increasingly difficult to distinguish from work that actually took place.
We need data chain-of-custody tools. Anybody using anything like that?

This could also be very bad for diversity in science, because certain less-developed countries tend to submit the most fraudulent papers, and now that they will be harder to distinguish from the good work from those countries, all work from there will generally be under suspicion.
