@cheeaun voted app the app being Raycast. Mainly because it’s easier to search and it has some smart search thing so that I don’t necessarily need to know the official emoji name

@cheeaun Apps’ pickers on desktop (never shortcodes), virtual keyboard’s picker on mobile.

@cheeaun I usually type a colon and some words which works in web mastodon and signal but in phanpy that only let's me pick the site custom ones so I have to type them in signal and copy over. Might be the most annoying thing in the phanpy composer. I wish the colon thing would pick from them all like in web client.

@cheeaun linux does not have a reliable emoji picker so I resort to using the apps own picker, preferably by using short codes.

@cheeaun voted for OS picker. i never understood why there sometimes is a separate emoji picker in apps (except when you have lots of other custom emojis or emotes too)

@cheeaun Mobile: keyboard Linux Gnome: Character program (https://apps.gnome.org/es/Characters/) Windows (work): OS picker (Windows + '.' keys) PS: I wish Phanphy would let you select general emojis and not just those from the server.
