Here is the Nissan S-Cargo, which was in production from 1989 to 1991, and the name of which was a pun on "escargot". I like the porthole in the back!

@weirdonwheels@social.chinwag.org There's a circus that tours around Qld which has a pair of them, painted red with signage. When they're in town they park in a different place each day as advertising.

@weirdonwheels@social.chinwag.org I saw a lot of florists with these back in the day. A tall roof meant easier to transport arrangements.

@weirdonwheels@social.chinwag.org Early versions had little extra indicator lights on stalks, like snails' eyes.
