After about two years of being mildly curious about them, I finally sat down and played with view transitions for the first time. I'm not crazy about fancy animations, but I really do like the basic crossfade effect that you get from just putting them in the html element. Thanks @davatron5000 for your blog post on how to get started with them. I know it's not new territory any more, but it was a good first read on the subject.
