On vacation in Philadelphia and it really proves the @notjustbikes adage that cities aren't loud, cars are loud.
But honestly it's not the volume of cars. Even with hundreds of cars slowly crawling through congested streets it's not that loud. It's that here in the US at least there's always at least one huge truck with an oversized engine, a civic with a racing muffler, a muscle car gunning it from light to light, and a dip shit with his windows down and stereo at max.

@notjustbikes@social.notjustbikes.com the switch to electric cars would help with the engine and exhaust noise. But only if it were mandated and that's not in the cards. The reality is it only takes one guy who intentionally showed up his car with a resonator so he can cosplay the Fast and the Furious to ruin it all, and there's always at least one.
