shoutouts to whoever at Nintendo, who when working on the textures for the "Glinty Circular Disc" (which is a Japanese copy of Wave Race: Blue Storm), decided to accurately recreate the ringcode on the shiny side to exactly match what you would see if you looked at a real disc. You can tell it isn't scanned because the spacing of the text is off compared to a real disc, but the text is 100% accurate (barring upscaling artifacts that make some characters hard to read), meaning the texture artist must have deliberately gone to the effort of transcribing the text 1:1, for something that almost nobody would even notice!
