Been tidying up some boards before the new year — amongst which is my blogging board… which includes a "discarded ideas" column… so this is what I _didn't_ write about this year:
* On Define The Damn Thing discussions.
* The pain pushing people back to more comfortable behaviours — that then continue to fail to work as the org scales.
* ReOps in smaller orgs.
* Is doing effective user research easier?
* Recruiting people.
* What if… not everything had to be in Jira? (1/3)

* If I say "product team" to you, what kind of roles does that include? * Not enough ux resources/people. * Distributed teams are not the solution to bad colocated environments. * When you say the "timeline doesn't allow" usability testing, what I hear is "We have decided not to care about shipping stuff that doesn’t work" * It’s better to have the structure of the product teams reflect the strategy deployment around the product.
