My wife and me met each other in Amsterdam early '80's and stayed there, together. Out of the tourist-area in a lively neighbourhood.
There was the Rabbit Man. Fully dressed in a rabbit costume , only his face visible.
Doing his daily chores, like shopping, or just walk. Not putting up a show, acting loud. Just being a Rabbit.
Now I volunteer with people , and talk with visitors on our spot who grew up in the city.
Nobody ever saw him.
Did we dream ?

@selzero @hanktank61 There was a monument in my (former) hometown. It's no longer there, and I supposed it was dismantled in early 90s, as much of things related to late People's Republic. But no one I talked to remembers it, and I fail to find any photo.
