Met Emily from my autism support group for a coffee today, trying to discuss our recent diagnoses while getting distracted by her daughter Hannah who is four months old. I got a hold for a bit while Emily had her tea and I got covered in dribble but it was totally worth it! 😊

#WritersCoffeeClub Day 1: What arrangement of plots do you have? No plot? Only one? A main plot and a side plot? Something else? You can arrange a plot?!? 😱 Seriously, I find as I pants my way through that subplots bubble up as I go - usually unbidden. One of my current issues is with the appearance of a secondary antagonist, completely unplanned but already feels more interesting than my current main baddie. Think I might save them for the sequel, if I ever get that far. 😆

Another few thousand words today, after ditching some of what I wrote yesterday. It’s getting to the point where I’m now dreaming of character development and got a great idea for my antagonist, which I talked about earlier this week. This may well be a long shot but if there are any #ActuallyAutistic folx in east Norfolk here who are free on 17th March, I shall be at the Gorleston library for an informal but welcoming cup of tea, coffee or whatever you fancy. I generally bring biscuits as well. If you fancy meeting with other neurodivergent people, why not pop along and say hello? From 3pm until 5ish (we sometimes ramble a bit) 😁
