I live close to the centre of a city of 800,000 people. Our house backs on a river, which means we get more wildlife visitors than most city dwellers. Today we have had 5 deer spend most of the afternoon hanging out. They emptied the bird feeders this morning, and every once in a while one of them will poke at one of the feeders and gaze imploringly at us.
