Wondering how the fediverse could become more helpful to working artists. Most of my fellow artists have given up and are more active or only active on other platforms.
If the fediverse can't financially support the arts...ummm...hmmm.

@KristinHenry One of the big things is "discoverablity". It is very hard to find new people here. Boosting helps, but not that much if you and the people you follow aren't continually finding new people some other way. Most of the time I find people somewhere else (other social media or websites) and then follow them here.
