Any recommendations on where to begin if I, someone with a background in game development, wanted to start messing around with ActivityPub stuff in my free time? #activitypub #opensource #learning

@Amberrrrrrr @melvincarvalho compiled a very nice website putting everything together. Have a look at https://socialdocs.org

@Amberrrrrrr Not much have been done on the intersection of ActivityPub and gaming. One project that comes to mind is https://github.com/maybeanerd/selfhosted-api-trader-game by @maybeanerd

@Amberrrrrrr if you get to the point where you want to make your own projects, you might want to look at a library like https://fedify.dev which makes building with ActivityPub easier.

@Amberrrrrrr If you have written in C before, the #snac2 code is pretty clear and readable as code goes, so may help. I also remember finding someone had made a fedi instance of custom software specifically for teaching people who are learning #ActivityPub, though I can't remember what it was called?
