    #TIL if you&amp;#39;re a #WebDev on #Linux you might want to put a `.nomedia` file in your project folders. GNOME&amp;#39;s system-wide search will index project folders in your home directory. This includes nodes_modules/ and it wastes a lot of CPU time indexing those folders. The `.nomedia` file tells it not to index whatever folder that file is in. I noticed this in the “Resources” app when I had it sort by “Total CPU Time.”

I remember before I got into freelance, Nebula.TV had a job opening and by all accounts I went bananas on my resume using #Inkscape. I got an interview BECAUSE I did that—they said the applications were all so homogeneous, it was fun to see something different.
