Yoroi-Shinden Samurai Troopers is now half way over, and all I can say is I really wish I thought it was good. Like I wanted to be very hyped for a revival of a show I really enjoyed. But it really doesn't have much going for it beyond nostalgia bait for me, and I need more than that. The writing, rushed to the point of incoherence. Treatment of characters? Rushed and willing to throw characters into a meatgrinder to meet those deadlines.
