One Piece live action has brought back my love for film.
Finished the second season.
Everyone brings such an enthusiasm with them.
And it's actual sets, actual makeup, actual costuming first, CGI only for the things props and setbuilding and costuming cannot cover.
It's everything I love in filmmaking brought together, everything I thought films had thrown out (apart from the indie scene).
And there are So. Many. African. Actors. This makes me so happy you cannot believe.

(Yes, I will be consuming every bit of bonus and production behind the scenes I can find.)

@len Yeah. Exactly this. I have a really deep fascination with the fantasy films that were made pre-cgi, that used puppets and practical sets, and I am so happy to see one of the comic series that made me want to draw comics fora living adapted in this manner. I have been actively looking at everything behind the scenes that I could find as well. Also, that they embraced the weirder elements of the comic rather that try to make eveything more generic.
