I'm sitting in the freezing dressing room, waiting to have my mammies grammed when another patient, in tears, came over to tell me something her grandmother had taught her. She said that God's plan for us is like the underside of an embroidery piece. It is all messy, and can only be understood after we keep at it. Only when we turn it over can we see the beauty of the work. As I keep working with my own grandmother's thread, it brought tears to my eyes, too. #Embroidery #WIPWednesday
