Listening to a podcaster I like talking about how so many podcaster/journalists monetize rage and the incineration of trust in institutions and I can't help but thinking about how the previous era's economics monetized environmental destruction and the incineration of traditions and cultures. And so many people want to continue to be uncritical of that environmental and cultural destruction while being critical of criticism itself. It's slightly maddening. Criticism doesn't mean something is irredeemable, or evil, but if we make something that we can't criticize, it will probably become evil pretty quickly.
