@pbloem What you describe is Mastodon and that outside of asia. As we do not have fun features, like Misskey or the forks and also block everything that is not covered by our local laws.

@pbloem I find the people I meet on the fediverse quite engaging, which is why I remain on it. I am addicted by the social gathering. Other than that, I agree 100% I am not being engaged or addicted by dishonest, manipulative means, but by my interest in the people I meet and the subjects we discuss. I wish it wasn’t so overwhelmingly political, but that is the cesspool we are living under.
