@pbloem I find the people I meet on the fediverse quite engaging, which is why I remain on it. I am addicted by the social gathering. Other than that, I agree 100% I am not being engaged or addicted by dishonest, manipulative means, but by my interest in the people I meet and the subjects we discuss. I wish it wasn’t so overwhelmingly political, but that is the cesspool we are living under.
