@Geoffberner Thanks for sharing this story Re: image descriptions/alt text - When you attach an image, GIF, or video of your own then there will be an alt text button or other way to add alt text. But when it's a preview image (Mastodon software shows previews of web pages when links are included) then you can't add alt text the same way. So that's why you couldn't find an alt text button. Sometimes the image on the web page has alt text and then the preview can show it. Hope this helps
