#movies || coming back on here just to say that kpop demon hunters has had me in a chokehold… the animation, the music, the way it’s a love letter but also subtle critique of the kpop industry… even with almost no marketing it’s shattering records. as a k-pop fan who loves adventure and fantasy i was absolutely the target audience… and i have zero regrets and way too many thoughts about the movie and its messages and characters. also, huntr/x and the saja boys have been on loop in my playlist for the past week also i was very pleasantly surprised to see some activity on the tag here on mastodon! the one thing i haven’t been able to find on mastodon is the fandom culture present on other centralized social media apps (in general, not just for K-pop) #KPopDemonHunters #netflix #movie #KPop #animation #music
