Electricity is starting to become "too cheap to meter," as breathless nuclear fans predicted back in the 1950s. At certain times of day in very sunny environments, like Australia and California. But the power is coming via solar panels from the big fusion reactor in the sky, rather than nasty uranium fission plants being used to boil water to drive turbines. The part not too cheap to meter will remain transmission, given power company tendencies to burn down forests and towns near their lines.
