Yesterday I learned that if you want to edit a custom format e.g. cinematic/spatial video in final cut, you have to be very specific about how you import it. I typically AirDrop them from the phone, but I couldn't figure out how to pull up the cinematic editor. Apple's documentation is shit, and the only reason I figured it out is because ChatGPT sent me to a Reddit thread where someone linked to a Ripple Training video from 3-4yrs ago that had a small section about this.
