@DaywalkingRedhead@toot.cat This bothers me so much. My wife's a virtual teacher, and due to the way it works in the state she teaches, she gets a mix of kids, but one of the groups are students who either didn't, or couldn't finish a class in school. The last few years she gets so many parents calling her up telling her that their kid "won't get out of bed" or that they were a great student until recently when they "started refusing to get up and do stuff" or "suddenly got so lazy" and it's just legitimately heartbreaking.
