CoreCivic is one of the private corporations profiting off running both regular prisons (with lots of issues) and these #ICE concentration camps. The people of #Kansas did not want the Leavenworth prison, infamous for abuses, reopened for even worse purposes. Groups like Boots on the Ground Midwest have fought extremely hard.
