@drdrang I have an alias that will search thru my history* for a string I often copy a previously run command and paste it (usually right into the same session) * technically not the session history… my prompt copies every command into a separate file (called ‘eternal_bash_history.log’) and that is what is searched… some commands may not be run for years

@drdrang Great goodness. That popup looks like it itself could be the malware. Can’t wait to hear the Johns’s (@gruber, @siracusa) reaction to Tahoe’s continued assault on our eyes and souls. And I hope this thing can be killed with the appropriate defaults override by those of us who want it dead, dead, dead.
