So... I had intended to quit as of the 27th. When asked for my timeline, I did some quick calculus and answered "end of April, if not sooner" What changed? I realized that business tax and personal tax deadlines are 3/15 and 4/15. If I want any hope of bringing in someone who can learn the job such that I can make a clean break and never have them bother me again, I need to give enough time for people to apply after they rage-quit their current tax jobs.
