@ElleGray@mstdn.social i also think ppl who don't have empathy and don't see it as a problem, they don't have any friends. And then they wonder why they don't have any friends. You would think that would give them the first clue that there is a problem at their end. Not at everyone else's end. I'm not saying that anyone who has no friends has no empathy (the person could just be really shy), but I would be willing to bet that most people with no empathy have no friends, or they have left behind a trail of destroyed relationships

@vera@im-in.space Yes, they will tell you (sociopaths & narcissistic personality types) they don't have any friends. They also are highly suspicious of other people's motives and don't trust anyone. Speaking from experience, yes, they damage relationships. But they blame others for that, and rarely accept responsibility for the problems their behaviour leads to. @ElleGray@mstdn.social
