Although it's *generally* nice to have a pool shaded by a giant live oak tree, it's a nightmare for this time of year. First you get the leaves all falling (live oaks are evergreen and drop their leaves in the spring), and then you get the massive dump of catkins ongoing now. And the pollen clogs the filters, so it doesn't circulate well. This is what it looked like before the third cleaning of today, and what I've pulled out this week so far. Never own a pool. Trust me.
