Them: “Why don’t you want to be a tech exec again?”
Me: “Because I value my humanity.”
Them (dumbfounded): “But don’t you want to be rich????”

@chris I had a convo with someone recently where they were very surprised at how low I was aiming revenue-wise for my new venture. 1. I don’t know how it’ll shake out since it’s a different sales model than I’ve ever dealt with before, but… 2. What’s wrong with wanting to hit more modest numbers and maintaining a more flexible lifestyle?!
