I did not know about the situation regarding #Booklore and oh boy what a read that was. Situations like these only reinforce my scepticism regarding immature and (especially) AI-assisted self-hosted projects. After all, my family and friends who use my services do not care about drama happening behind the scenes. They need a viable alternative to #BigTech, and uncertainty is the opposite of "viable".
