Original Love *Eyes* JP East World 1993 One of my all-time favorite albums. Original Love's third major label album feels like a drive to the beach on a summer day, sunny yet soulful. Original Love never gets mentioned in the same breath as other Shibuya-kei groups like Pizzicato Five or Cornelius (even though leader Takao Tajima fronted P5 in the late 80s), but the band's early 90s albums continue the traditions of city pop and sophisti-pop. #PhysicalMedia #cd #CompactDisc #JPop
