I have a rude question: Is open source licensing dead? Code assistants are trained on the universe of (variously licensed) source-available software in existence, and can recapitulate a vaguely compatible clone claiming “clean room”(ish) techniques. (See: chardet) LLMs can be used to monetize others open source work even more trivially, as described below. Where can we even go from here? https://social.nouveau.community/@june/116189020908193236
