It's been about five years since I've been using Pleroma, or really anything involving the fediverse. I started on March 24, 2021 via the late neckbeard(dot)xyz (that later became baest and then that's mostly dead, sadly) because I was interested in social media besides imageboards that took it easy and post almost whatever's interesting without as much annoying jannies. A whole lot has happened in the past five years, but I'll gladly say that it's a net positive. I have a somewhat stable job IRL, but that doesn't stop me from checking out this place for fun (just not during work). I've been close with friends and family (and church, obviously), but that's not to say that I'm completely out of social media thanks to this website. I'd like to say to each user and admin that I've interacted personally: Thank you all (even with your bizarre quirks and desires — although the number three brown lady posters are based imo), along with many other similar fediverse instances and the like that shitpost and post slurs to keep humanity afloat against the antichrist. I still have my hobbies from time to time, and this is no exception. I also plan to draw some more artwork (via an Android tablet), so stay tuned. I have some longterm goals in mind, but not set in stone just yet, and I still have all sorts of nonsense IRL beyond my control. Here's to more years on the fediverse!
