STMicroelectronics has announced new entry-level STM32 parts, built on its in-house 40nm process node and with Arm Cortex-M33 cores - and starting at just $0.64 each. Err, if you're willing to buy 10,000-unit trays of the things, anyway. https://www.hackster.io/news/stmicroelectronics-unveils-the-stm32c5-an-entry-level-40nm-microcontroller-range-at-a-keen-price-3139efc7c263 #Technology #News #Hackster #Microcontroller

@ghalfacree loved my ZX 80 as my second computer - after a Commodore 64 I used for work. Graduated to the ZX 81 and eventually the Spectrum because of the colour output and learned to write Assembler code after I mastered BASIC.

@ghalfacree On my side of the pond it was the "Timex Sinclair1000", which I have a small collection of. My father bought me the first one. I've had an eBay alert running for several years once I discovered an actual keyboard manufactured especially for it (Memotech). in an old magazine ad. It was triggered once maybe ten years ago and I didn't win it. Grrrrr... Anything but those membrane keys. Please! lol. https://www.timexsinclair.com/product/memotech-keyboard/index.html Perhaps in your kit you've got some options available to you?

@ghalfacree @Extelec A great article, Gareth and I envy the RAM pack with its fitted case. I had the official Sinclair one and a paper napkin under the edge connector…
