Musings on York Uni taster day... 1) Some parents need to let their damned kids go! Yeah I'm talking about you folk who 'gatecrashed' the student free lunch and the student course sessions despite being told not to! You can't go to Uni with them, you zeebs, let them get on with their lives! 2) Yorkshire people are as friendly as you've heard. A teenage boy apologised for nearly running me over at a crossing on his bike, and I mean PROPERLY apologised. We don't get that darn sarf
