Dim realisation this morning as I was giving a presentation for new starters at our place that I've been working in IT since 1986. Forty. Years. I swear, in those four decades I've heard just about every lie it's possible for someone to concoct on the basis that they did something they shouldn't have, got fucked by it, and tried to wriggle out of it by calling in IT.
