So begins my first day of actual unemployment since [checks] January 2008. I'm spending the day catching up on transfer of health insurance benefits (thanks a bunch, US "health care system"). I told myself when I started this position that I wanted it to be my last tech job. I still mostly feel that way but I was hoping it would have lasted a bit longer.
